What? Basic pedicure including soak, cuticle care, file, massage and polish.
Where? Endota Spa (Cheltenham)
Why? The average person takes 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day. As a mama of a toddler most days it certainly feels like I’ve done 10,000 by lunchtime by which time my feet are as tired as the rest of me.
Regular pedicures not only keep your feet looking pretty (I don’t want to distract the person behind me at yoga with thoughts of “when was that woman’s last pedi!”) but if your treatment comes with a foot massage, that increases circulation and relaxes you.
The pedicure at Endota had all the bells and whistles. Firstly, the treatment took place in the comfiest dressing gown I’ve ever worn. After a foot bath, the rest of the treatment was spent lying down - and what mama doesn’t need more rest!
The highlight of the treatment was the foot massage. I can’t remember the last time I had a foot massage, and although not quite the same, my visit to Endota has inspired me to DIY a foot massage a bit more regularly.
How much? $75.00 for 45 minutes.
