Four hours rest for the price of one

What? Floation therapy/sensor deprivation - spending an hour, naked, submerged in salty warm water. Closed tank, lights and head pillow optional.

Where? The Float room, Marion, South Australia.

Why? It offers great health benefits including relief from back pain, recovery from fatigue and stress reduction.

Some say floating for an hour is the equivalent of approximately 4 hours sleep in terms of rejuvenation and relaxation.

I personally loved it. When I started in the tank I had an uncomfortable tightness in my neck and my mind was racing. About half way through the pain had dissolved away and my mind was calmer. I felt no anxiety about being in the tank (I’m not claustrophobic but wasn’t sure how I’d go) and was relaxed within minutes.

How much? $65.00 per person per hour.
