My 2 and a half year old son has adopted my all too often used phrase of “two minutes”. Hardly surprising, he hears it often enough - I’ll wipe up the floor in two minutes, your pumpkin will be cooled in two minutes, I’ll put on toy story in two minutes etc etc.

Two minutes to me seems like a very short amount of time - not to a toddler - but to most big people.

I decided in this blog I didn’t just want it to only be my story and my voice around me-time and self care but to draw on the collective wisdom of other mamas.

Mamas lives are full and so I wanted to confine the time they gave to me to the magic “two minutes”.

I plan to collect and share experiences from mamas from all walks of life, backgrounds and nationalities. I hope it will prove inspiring for all of us.
