When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?

I feel very fortunate to say that my husband understands the importance of having a chance to “reset”, as I like to call it! So my “reset” or (“me time” as you say) moments happen at least once a week. 

What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?

Self care is all about how my soul is doing. I may be able to get away for a few and maybe indulge a little bit in the things I like, but if my soul is not doing well, there’s a big cloud of gray over whatever it is I’m trying to accomplish. Jesus is my answer to self care, always! 🙂 

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?

Well first of all I would say, don’t look for me time as your only saving grace! If it takes a long time for it to happen (especially those mama’s of really young kiddos) you may feel defeated. Try to relish in the reality that you are so needed. Also, take an extra long shower, haha! Sometimes a long (and uninterrupted) shower is all the ‘me’ time I need!
