When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?
The last time I had me time was 2 days ago when I went training. I told my self a few months back I need to start focusing on myself and found joining boot camp I was able to work on myself and get some time away from the house and kids.
What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?
I love to eat healthy and try to keep fit. I love morning walks and going to the park with the kids which gives me some me-time while they play. I also love getting my nails and eyelashes done.
What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?
“Me time” is really important – it will make you a much better person and give you a lot more patience with the children ? Sometimes it’s nice to just not have to worry about anyone else but yourself even if it’s just a 30min gym session or a walk to the park. Kids can be hard work – I know, I have five – but sometimes we have to make it work.
