When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?

Since becoming pregnant I try to designate more “me-time” to give my body rest… unfortunately as a busy mama it can be difficult! One thing I always ensure is that I get one hour of exercise per day as my “me-time”. Moving my body really energises me for the day and clears my mind! If I have a super busy day I try to give myself 5 minutes of relaxation with no technology just to reflect and wind down before little miss needs me again. 

What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?

My all time favourite way to practise self-care besides exercising is having a hot shower, washing my hair and putting on a moisturising face mask. Once I’ve done this I really feel invigorated! 

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?

My advice is to make time! Instead of spending 20 minutes on your phone or cleaning up invest this time in yourself! Go for a walk or take a hot shower if you can! At the end of the day the dishes can wait! Investing time in yourself is not selfish! Remember happy Mum= happy kids =happy family.
