When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?

Today! I went to my yoga class and it’s something I try my best not to miss!

I practice yoga 3 times a week as I’ve found the postures to be very beneficial for my body. I also love stretching, it’s an important part of my routine everyday. It gives me greater flexibility in my body which I love and leaves me in a much better state of mind after the exercise.

What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?

– Meditation : 5 to 10 mins a day does wonders for the mind

– Going for a nice body and head massage

– Having a coffee in my favourite local cafe

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?

Looking after yourself will make you a happier and more patient person! A smile often starts with another smile! It’s a priority to set aside some “me-time”, never be shy to ask for help so that you can spend some time by yourself. It’s a must!
Between working full-time, managing an online fashion business (www.luxefashionboutique.com.au) and spending time with my kids, life is very busy and is often a juggling act!

Every week, I plan ahead to ensure that I have set aside time to do the things that I want to do for myself.
