When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time? 

This is never an easy thing for me to admit because I know how odd it can sound, but going to work is my “me-time” – it’s when I recharge, get inspired and find my balance again. I am lucky enough to work with amazing beings who make me laugh endlessly, challenge me and teach me each day. I’m not great at doing “me” things, simply because I don’t relax or feel whole from a massage, a trip without my kids or anything like that. 

What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care? 

I have been meditating for about 4 years now. It’s something I practice daily, whether at night before bed or early in the am, before the chaos of my day begins. But what I find keeps me most in tune and healthy is reiki. My mom is a NYC based reiki master, so I’m lucky enough to have her energy on a weekly basis. My eating and overall lifestyle is very clean, from organic foods to clean beauty products to eco-conscious clothing.

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself? 

I really struggle with it myself, but when I do truly need a moment, I ask for help. My parents are close by, my nanny is like my family, my husband is a dream father. You have to ask for assistance, you deserve it and everyone will benefit from it.
