When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?

‘Me’ time is a big part of me aiming to be a better version of myself. I try and regularly schedule it in, in theory. It’s  important for my headspace that I at least give it a good try to make it happen. So how often? Perhaps once a week even if it’s 30 minutes I try and do something for myself.

What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?

I love having painted nails – it’s something that helps me feel like I’ve done something a little indulgent. Exercise is also a part of this, I try and move my body in some way at least 4 times a week. Again it’s a form of self care too.

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?

My kids are a little older now which helps – but I know when they were younger, I would beg, borrow or steal to make it happen! Finding other mums in the same position, we’d have each others kids or I’d schedule in a specific time with my husband that allowed me to do this. It’s important to just make it happen and never be too afraid to ask somebody for a little help.
