When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?
Honestly I feel like work is me-time, and I mean that. I have an online shop, Darling Clementine and I really do feel fulfilled working day and night on it. But I do love to sneak away and walk around the city, just me.
What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?
Going to bed early, and saying “NO” when you need to and allowing the guilt to roll off. Sometimes saying no to an invite has to happen!
What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?
You may have heard it a million times, but it is SO TRUE, a happy mama is a better mama. When my stress levels rise I notice the kids get more fussy and whiny, when I’m happy, they’re happier.
