When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?
I had a 3 minute luke warm bath at midnight last night and I caught up on Sky News.
What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?
I absolutely love yoga, pilates and meditation. I try and carve out 2 hours a week for me and that’s what I do to chill. I’ve just started listening to an app called Calm which is brilliant for unwinding.
What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?
It’s not easy but my mother always says it’s so important. It sounds ridiculous, but try and put it in the diary and then stick to it. Even if you ask for help with the children so you can shut off and look after yourself.
