When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?

I divide my “me-time” into 2 parts. First part is not too long on time, but I do it every day. I’ll take a nice evening shower or bath and will do my skincare routine. No hurry. Just relax. I trust my husband and know he will take good care of the baby. And when our daughter falls asleep my husband gives me 5-10 mins of massage. That’s my favorite time of the day. The second part is special treatment for myself. For example, last Sunday I did my hair in Drybar. I felt so beautiful, girlish and good after it. 

What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?

I love to take care of myself. It is one of those things to start and end my day to keep me comfortable and balanced. I’m always looking for the best cosmetics for my face and body, starting with moisturizing shower gel finishing with perfect thermal water spray. Bubbles, bath bombs, facial masks, skin oils, candles, flowers… yep I’m that type of girl.

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?

First of all, I want to say that every mommy has to have “me-time”. It is better for everyone in the family. As they say happy wife – happy life. But no joke, when you are having a baby it is very important for both parents to have some personal time. And it doesn’t matter how you will spend it – reading a book, working out in the gym or soaking in the bath tub. The most important question is how to find this time. Me and my husband are trying to do home chores during the day when we are having short breaks, but if at the end of the day the dishwasher is full and the laundry is not done, we know that it will not run away and can wait till tomorrow, more important right now is our health and happiness.
