When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?

I paint, so that’s my me-time – I usually paint at night once my kids go to bed for about an hour.

What are some of your favorite ways to practice self-care?

I just recently bought myself a Peloton bike and I love starting my day before my family at 6am with a class. It’s the best way to take care of myself. After that, I do a sheet mask in the AM after my shower while getting dressed and doing lunches for the kids. And I do facials every two weeks. 

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?

I honestly take time for myself while the kids are asleep. It’s the only time I can guarantee not being interrupted. I always tell new moms that taking good care of yourself ensures you will be a better provider.
