When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?
Last night, actually. I try to make sure that I have a moment to myself everyday, even if it’s just for a second.
What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?
I am obsessed with skincare. Giving myself an at home facial just simply relaxes me.
What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?
While it is hard for us moms to find time in the day to take care of ourselves, I think we must make it a priority to create a “me-time” schedule. I find it easier to do at night, than in the day. When the kids are sleep, do whatever it is that you enjoy. Whether it’s reading your favorite book, or watching your favorite shows, it’s super important that you take time for yourself.
