When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?

If and when I do get free time (me time) I always do hot yoga. It’s my absolute favorite thing to do. It’s a space of no talking, detoxing and calming. As you mamas know it’s never quiet at home with a toddler running around so I do appreciate the quiet time when I can get it. I know it doesn’t mix but usually after I meet up with a few friends for lunch and maybe a cocktail ?

What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care? 

I love taking baths! I buy all this fun stuff to go into the tub and light a few candles and relax after the day is done. It feels like a reward but also good for my skin and the soul. 

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?

I use to be shy or too proud to ask for help always thinking I could do everything. As my daughter got older I realized that I needed some time for myself because if I’m happy my daughter will be even happier. Plus I think even she needed a break for me.  Lol. So don’t be afraid to delegate some of the responsibility.
