When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?

Yesterday – I curled up in bed and read a magazine for an hour to try to get some rest. 

What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?

I like to spend a little time each night planning my outfit for the next day. It may seem frivolous however wearing something nice puts me in a good mood, and it’s great to be able to get up and know what I’m wearing in advance. It’s sets me up for the day ahead. I also love to end each day with a cup of herbal tea (any! I love them all) and watching some Netflix with the hubby. 

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?

I’m not very good at this, I’m still learning – but you have to prioritise it and take help when offered. And learn to let go of guilt.
