When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?

I can’t remember the last true “me-time” in all honesty. But I do indulge in a glass of white wine at the end of my day and that has become my “me-time”, just sipping wine as I catch up on editing and emails. I should be doing yoga instead…

What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?

My favorite self care practice is to get a facial and a manicure. And I also miss my long walks with headphones…alone! It’s been years now. 

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?

Ask for help, hire help? I get so much help from my parents and mother in law, we don’t have a nanny or babysitter so they’ve given me the opportunity to work! Being able to trust someone else with your kids so you can put your focus elsewhere for a little while is priceless. Any way you can find time in your day for yourself is a win in my book!
