When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time? 

This morning I did a yoga class, yoga is a luxury – as a single mum I can only go if she’s at school or staying at her dads.

What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care? 

I’m pretty happy if I have the time and the money to go get a facial or get a blow wave, but the most important thing for me is getting time to meditate.

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?

It’s so important to look after yourself first, when you feel good it makes you a better mother and partner.

If I don’t get a break from my daughter that day I will sit on her bed and meditate as she goes to sleep, and if I can’t make it to a yoga class I’ll do squats and stretches in the living room.
