When was the last time you had “me-time” and how did you spend that time?

The last time I had “me-time” was about a week ago! I grabbed a coffee and went for a manicure & pedicure!! It was wonderful! My husband was away on a business trip for a few days, so the day he got back he sent me out!

What are some of your favourite ways to practice self care?

I make it a priority to take care of myself! When you look good, you feel good! I always make sure to get dressed, put make-up on, and style my hair! It honestly helps my mood and makes for a great day.

What advice would you give to mamas struggling to create “me-time”? How do you make time in your schedule for yourself?

To ensure I get “me-time” at least a bit every day I wake up an hour and a half earlier than my little ones! I can get ready, sip my coffee, blog, and plan my day! If this isn’t an option create a routine where your kids have “quiet time” if they don’t nap ( my daughter just gave them up so we now have “rest time” which includes reading or coloring).  Also, taking time to get your nails done, grab coffee, or even a solo trip to the mall is important! You deserve “me -time “to ensure you are taking care of yourself to be the best mama you can possibly be!
